1. Who we are

Webstrox Key (“Webstrox Key”, “we”, “us”) is an independent software reseller that sells genuine Autodesk software licenses with digital delivery. We are not affiliated with Autodesk, Inc.

For any privacy question you can reach our team at support@webstroxkey.com. We reply within one business day, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM EST.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to deliver your license and support you afterwards:

• Order details — your email address, the product and license term you purchased, order ID and purchase date.
• Payment confirmation — the transaction reference, amount and status returned by PayPal. We never see or store your full card number, CVV or bank credentials.
• Support conversations — messages you send by email or through the live chat widget, including any screenshots you attach.
• Marketing preferences — your email address if you subscribe to our deals newsletter.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

• To process your order and email your license key, download links and installation instructions.
• To provide installation help, activation support and warranty service for the life of your license.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent orders, chargebacks and abuse of promotional offers.
• To send deal emails and product updates — only if you subscribed, and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
• To understand how our pages perform so we can improve speed, clarity and checkout experience.
• To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering the license you paid for), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement, security), consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

5. Payments

All payments are processed by PayPal on their own secure infrastructure. Your card and bank details are entered directly with PayPal and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We receive only the confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the amount and transaction ID. PayPal processes your data under its own privacy policy.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries:

• Essential — remember your selected license term, checkout progress and whether a promotional popup has already been shown to you.
• Analytics — aggregated, non-identifying statistics about page views and load performance.
• Support — the live chat widget stores a session identifier so your conversation stays continuous.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may break checkout.

7. When we share data

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that make the store work, and only to the extent they need it:

• PayPal — payment processing and fraud checks.
• Email delivery provider — sending your license email and receipts.
• Hosting and analytics providers — running and monitoring this website.
• Live chat provider — handling your support conversations.

We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, customers or platform from fraud.

8. How long we keep data

Order and license records are kept for 7 years to honour lifetime support requests and to meet tax and accounting rules. Support conversations are kept for 24 months. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to 14 months.

9. How we protect your data

The entire site runs over TLS/SSL encryption. Access to order records is limited to staff who need it for delivery or support, protected by unique accounts and multi-factor authentication. We review access permissions regularly. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take these safeguards seriously and will notify affected customers promptly in the event of a breach that affects their data.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it for legal or contractual reasons.
• Object to or restrict processing, including direct marketing.
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

Email support@webstroxkey.com from the address used for your order and we will action verified requests within 30 days, free of charge. California residents may exercise CCPA/CPRA rights through the same address; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard.

12. Children

Our store is intended for professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or the law changes. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced by email to active customers.
